Terms of Service

Hi! I’m Tamaya, the founder of Garden Sitter DFW. I understand how much love and time goes into a garden—and I treat your plants with that same care.

Whether you're gone for a weekend or two weeks, I’ll make sure your garden gets the attention it deserves.

To help things run smoothly and avoid surprises, I’ve put together a few simple service policies. These protect your time and mine, and ensure your plants get the best care even when Texas weather doesn’t cooperate.

By booking with Garden Sitter DFW, you agree to our terms of service. 

Plant Condition Disclaimer

While Garden Sitter DFW takes great care in watering and tending to your plants as instructed, we cannot guarantee the health or survival of any plant due to factors beyond our control. These may include, but are not limited to: pests, disease, environmental conditions, incorrect instructions, or the natural condition of the plant before and/or after our care. By using my services, you acknowledge and accept that Garden Sitter DFW is not liable for any damage to or loss of plants during your absence.

Pet/Property Interaction Policy

Garden Sitter DFW does not provide pet care or handle home-related tasks unless specifically agreed upon in writing. We are not liable for any incidents involving pets, home security, or unrelated property matters.

Access Policy

Clients are responsible for ensuring access to all areas requiring service. If we are unable to access your property (e.g., locked gates, alarm issues, etc.), the visit will still be charged

Rain Policy

Because weather can vary by location, Garden Sitter DFW will still visit your property as scheduled—even if rain is in the forecast—unless you notify us otherwise. This allows us to check the condition of your plants and ensure they are not missed due to inaccurate weather reports.

 

If you would like to skip a visit due to rain, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. In that case, the missed visit will be credited toward a future service within 60 days.

 

No refunds will be issued due to rain, as your appointment time has been reserved and may still include a visual plant check or other care if needed.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the visit. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service are non-refundable.

Service Window Policy

Service visits will occur within a flexible window (e.g., 5 AM – 11 PM) unless otherwise arranged. Specific appointment times are not guaranteed.

Payment Policy

A non-refundable 20% deposit is due upon booking, and the remainder is due on the day before the first service date.

Prices vary depending on service area, plant volume, and frequency of visits, etc. Please click here to obtain a quote.
